Hello
Its been a while mainly because I was leaving my next bog until I had uploaded all of my new pics.
But I still have not had time to do that.
Hubby has to help me sometimes as it all goes wrong when I do it but I have some photos still to show.
We are currently packing the holiday home on wheels for yet another trip.
We have been to southwold a couple of weeks ago and snaps will follow (when loaded)

I have been busy and here are some projects completed and looking great.
Plus my collection of rico creative cotton yet to be hooked up !!!!
Dont you just love balls of yarn - I am so sad I could spend all day in Yarn shop.

Baby bibs in pastels sweet.

Wavy blanket which should have had the picture rotated but I forgot.

Pretty ruffle scarf - make an ideal christmas gift.

That concludes photos for the time being but I promise to bore you with heaps of snaps from leek country fair, southwold,  more completed projects and Boscastle.

Bargains gained !!!!!

Hi
Almost forgot to share my bargains with you that I have picked up whilst on vanny jaunts on little markets or charity shops (which I simply love so much to explore )
Whenever I see one I have to go in I collect bubble based bud vases and coloured glass (which I will have pictures of shorlty) but treasures are there to be dug out.

ummmm cones of wool in a bargain bag,
Not sure what I will do with them but just had to buy them !

A fab little basket from Ashbourne market (whilst on a vanny trip) a snip at £3.99
I love wicker.

A trio of old books will proabaly never knit or crochet anything in them but they are great to flick through, I love them.

I have been asked by a colleague at work to crochet a couple of gifts for a friend of hers I am two thirds into a baby blanket, then I will attempt a teddy from my latest book adorable crochet for babies and toddlers = lovely. Then joy I can pick a project for myself.
Today has been busy with some gardening this morning, tidying, weeding the gravel path etc

The hollyhocks are slowly dying off - note to self must plant late summer flowering plants.

The fishy fountain is looking stunning in the sunshine - no water the pump is switched off !

The hostas thrive in the shade of some yew trees.

And afer a scrummy sunday roast dinner compliments of hubby some quality crochet in the C C = crochet conservatory where the view is fab and the light superb.

Until the next blog
Happy hooking and hoeing

Hot hot and humid Wednesday

Hi
My first ever blog, are you ready I hope so, I tend to ramble but hopefully you will enjoy the
news and events from my happy life. Whilst I do ramble along I will interupt with snaps of my two passions my garden and my crochet, it will help brighten my blog.
Wednesday a day spent visiting my mummy and dinner with my children Catherine and John and quality time with my sister and her family.  My travelling companion as always yarn and hook with my latest project - a Baby pram blanket. A gift for our neighbours first baby - picture to follow when complete.

Foxgloves aren't they a beautiful cottage garden plant.

Hollyhocks - pretty in pink.

I mentioned in my profile that we travelled - well here is the lovely holiday on wheels -

Isn't she just lovely, to all you non caravan owners I must sound loopy but we really enjoy trips out and about in her. Also I can take hooks and yarn and crochet to my hearts content - can't be bad.

Two projects that travelled !!

I confess that I have never designed from scratch anything that I have crocheted. I have followed patterns and sometimes just tweeked them slightly and alas sometimes fallen in love with something I have seen completed by a freind and had to make myself, below is a said project !!! stolen from Esther @ Hand Made With Love.

I fell in love with the colours she had used and here it is.  I loved the comination so much I have started a blanket to match here it is in progress -

The chair used to display is quite lovely but I cant claim to have made that !!!

I was introduced to blogs by Esther and now follow three or four favorites as I am new to my own blog I havent quite got around to listing them correctly but Lucy @ Attic 24 is one of them and I will be borrowing a few ideas from her lovely stash of completed projects, she too is very clever with colour combinations.

Any way enough for now, signing off but will be back soon...........................

Happy Hooking and Hoeing xxXxx
