Vanny catch up - Part one

Hello my buddies
Here I am again at long last, back from the latest vanny trip.
However a few weeks ago we went to a site near Leek in staffordshire and in a little wool shop a lady was sitting knitting and her yarn was on the wooden dispenser thingy in the photograph below.
It worked really well and kept your yarn off the floor and kept it clean and tidy. I cheekily asked if I could take a picture as hubby is a dab hand in the carpentry area and I wanted him to make me one.
She said it was fine and off I went. Good job hubby is on the case because the lady had them for sale for about £39 !!!! Yarn I will spend out on but £39 on a little wood thingy is a bit rich.

While we were on this trip we went to Leek Country Show -

Shire horses arent they just lovely so big soooo gentle - gentle giants

But even cuter a much younger gentle giant xx

And lastly the very proud owners ah.


The next vanny trip took us over to the east coast to just outside Southwold we had five days there and the site was just in front of the beach -

Whilst out walking the sky looked absolutely cotton wooley with wisps and swirls, had to take a pic - pity I didnt miss the top of the tree, spoils it.

When we went to the area where the pier was the weather was a little blustery but it never spoiled our day.

We walked the pier and browsed in and out of the little shops but also on the pier is a very small arcade of very unusual arcade machines all apparently home made !!!

 Some were very very odd !

Dont know any of these folk but they cant be recongnised so I am sure they wont mind being part of my blog.
I'm working on lots of projects some pics still to be up loaded and will follow in leter blogs. I have to sing off just now but will be back asap with more snaps of vanny trips.
